Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor who was a part of a number of movies and television shows over the course of her professional career. She began modeling, however once she was recognized internationally, she decided to pursue acting. Her acting career began in 1995, when she was a guest on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights. Harmon also performs voice acting and voice-overs. Harmon took a decision early in 2000 that she would not be acting on TV and focus only on film. Then, in the beginning of 2000, Harmon returned to television series after a short stint in movies. She was among the very few actresses of 2008 who discreetly posed nude for "Allure" publication. Her most notable work was as the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series "Rizzoli & Isles'. As a detective she was praised and accolades. Angie Harmon was nominated over the past few years for her exceptional performances, but has not won any awards.
